COACHES

Rob Kaal - President and Director of Operations

Rob has coached Tier 1 baseball for 12 years as well as Elite Baseball with various teams for 6 years. There have been numerous championships and tournaments won in Rob's 18 year career of coaching baseball. He has helped many young athletes achieve their dream of playing at a higher level and getting them to a suitable college/university in both Canada and the U.S. The Tri City Giants are a proud member of the Fergie Jenkins Summer League,  our rates for playing are the lowest in Ontario for Elite Baseball. The reason for this, is the passion we have for Baseball, our staff has played the game, understand all levels of Elite Baseball and now it is our turn to give back to the kids however we can!

Jake Ruby - 18U assistant coach

Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario. I played softball growing up until the age of 12. I then moved on to hardball playing for other organizations. It wasn't until 2019 that I joined the 18U team with the Tri-City Giants coached by Zach,- and won the 18U FJSL Championship the same year. I loved playing for the Tri-City Giants organization. and only wish I had joined them sooner.

I now attend Seneca Collee studying fitness and health promotion. I also play for their varsity baseball team in the OCAA.
